Pakistan next face South Africa on Wednesday in Karachi.
Mohammad Rizwan is a wicketkeeper-batter who plays for the Pakistan cricket team.
The right-hander had made his debut in all formats of the game for Pakistan by 2016 but stayed on the sidelines till 2019 since Sarfaraz Ahmed was the first-choice wicketkeeper-batter and captain of the national side during that time.
However, after making his comeback in 2019, Rizwan never looked back and established himself as a key figure in the Pakistan team in all three formats of the game.
Rizwan was born on June 1, 1992.
Rizwan was born in Peshawar, which is a city in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rizwan is currently the captain of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans. He has also represented Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings in the past.
According to Rizwan, his best batting position is in the top order.
