Imran Khan, considered one of the greatest cricket all-rounders, was a Pakistani player who took his country to its first World Cup glory in 1992. To this date, the 1992 Trophy is the only 50-over Cricket World Cup win of Pakistan.

Once a number one bowler in the ICC Test Bowlers Rankings, Imran Khan is listed at number three in the all-time Test Bowling Rankins of ICC.

Imran Khan has also won the Player of the Match award 13 times in his ODI career. In 1983, he was awarded the Wisden Cricketer of the Year.
