Former pacer Umar Gul is ‘disheartened’ after he was snubbed for Assistant Coach of Balochistan slot by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Umar turned to Twitter and expressed his disappointment.
Tagging newly appointed PCB chief Ramiz Raja, he tweeted, “Im disheartened to see professionalism is often missing at the PCB. Having gone through the process & assured by Grant Bradburn that I have been recommended for Assistant Coach of Baluchistan. And without any information I get to know Raj Hans has been preferred? @iramizraja.”
In another tweet, dejected Gul said, “I waited for a week n cancelled my other commitments so I could get with the Balochistan team, got no response from the PCB! Totally unethical by an organisation! I don’t know if things will ever change @iramizraja.”
Umar Gul is currently a bowling coach of Quetta Gladiators.
