After Ehsan Mani stepped away from the role of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, reports claim that former Pakistan Test captain Ramiz Raja has accepted the post.

According to a report by Cricbuzz, the cricket commentator took on the role after Mani’s term ended and he excused himself from continuing.

Per the report, the decision to replace Raja with Mani was finalized today, three days after the former cricketer met with Prime Minsiter Imran Khan.

The sports portal quoted Raja as saying: "The aim is to reset Pakistan cricket's GPS and will be in pursuit of excellence.”

"I have given him (Imran Khan) my plans. He will make a call,” he said further to the outlet.
