Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib has made an appeal to the governmental authorities in regards to his job in WAPDA.
Turning to Twitter, the 21-year-old Gujranwala-based weightlifter requested authorities to regularize his job at the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority.
"The ministry of WAPDA now please regular me and also give promotions for my better future. Its been 3 years I have no promotion from WAPDA ! Please notice,” he wrote.
This comes two days after Talib finished fifth in Tokyo Olympics weightlifting competition in the 67kg category. Athletes from China, Columbia and Italy managed to surpass him in final attempts.
