Fatima Sana’s magnificent all-round display powered Pakistan Women to clinch the final ODI against West Indies Women, with a 22-run victory by the DLS method, narrowing their loss 3-2.

The fast bowler, 19, helped Pakistan hit a decent target with her unbeaten 19-ball 28 runs while their innings were shortened due to the rain.

This was followed by her maiden five-wicket haul in the ODIs.

After the rain shortened the game to 34 overs each side, Pakistan increase their scoring rate by adding 108 after the rain break in the 19th over. Omaima Sohail scored 34 off 37, Kainat Imtiaz 21 off 28 and Ayesha Naseem hit 16 off 14. Sana then came in with her unbeaten 28.

Despite a steady start by the hosts during their chase, the visitors kept a check on the scoring rate.

The Windies Women were eventually bowled out for 171 off their last ball of the innings.
