Pakistan's 25 players, including the eleven squad members, are participating in the training camp ahead of West Indies Test series 

KARACHI: Pakistan’s preparations for the upcoming Test series against West Indies are in full swing at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Twenty five players, including the eleven squad members, are currently participating in the training camp under the supervision of Saqlain Mushtaq, who is one of the coaches of the National High Performance Centre.

Muhammad Yousuf is focusing on improving batting techniques while the players also undergo practice sessions for fielding.

The players will enter the bio-secure bubble on July 21 at a hotel in Lahore, after the conclusion of the camp on July 17, and will fly to Barbados on July 26.

The 11 Test players include: Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Imran Butt, Mohammad Abbas, Naseem Shah, Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan, Shahnawaz Dahani, Yasir Shah and Zahid Mahmood.

Apart from them, six additional players have also been invited by the selectors, including Akif Javed, Irfanullah Shah, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Hassan, Mohammad Umar and Saifullah Bangash.
