Kane Williamson, David Warner observe fast in Ramadan with Rashid Khan

Famous batsmen Kane Williamson and David Warner observed a fast during the holy month of Ramadhan along with Afghan spinner Rashid Khan and other Indian Premier League (IPL) teammates.

According to a video posted by Rashid on his Instagram account, the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting duo were sitting on a table at a restaurant ready to break their fast.

Khan interacted with the two batsmen asking them how their fast was going.

"David, how is your fasting today?" Khan asked Warner in the video.

"Good, but I am very thirsty and very hungry today," Warner responded. "My mouth is so dry," he added before laughing.

Khan then turned the camera to Williamson, asking the Kiwi batsman how was he feeling.

"Very good, thanks," Williamson said while posing a thumbs-up.

"These two legends are having a fast today. It is a pleasure to have them at the table," Khan added.

The spinner had captioned the Instagram story video as, “2 legends were fasting with us today.”

Williamson and Khan are currently playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad under the leadership of Warner, who is captaining the side. Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammad Nabi, and Khaleel Ahmed are also members of the same team.
