Former England captain Michael Vaughan called Chennai Super Kings' Ravindra Jadeja "India's greatest ever fielder" after the veteran cricketer's incredible effort in the field helped his side get rid of Punjab Kings' star duo of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match.

Jadeja had Rahul run-out with a direct hit and then swooped to take a stunning catch of Gayle as his side reduced PBKS to the lowest score of IPL 2021 so far.

Vaughan had this to say about Jadeja:

Jadeja's teammate Deepak Chahar was so impressed, he said he wanted 11 Jadejas in the field.

"He's one of the best in the world, has taken so many catches off my bowling. I want 11 Jaddus on the field," Chahar said.

"First over, when the catch went to Ruturaj, it was a quick one, only Jaddu could've taken that so I was like he should've been there."
