All members of the Pakistan cricket squad have cleared their on-arrival Covid-19 tests after reaching Johannesburg on Friday, The News reported today.

The squad will start its first training session today at the SuperSport Park in Centurion after spending Saturday as ‘rest day.’

While players and officials are currently in a three-day mandatory quarantine period, they are allowed to practice following negative coronavirus results.

Earlier on Friday, a 34-member contingent, which included 21 players and 13 officials, departed for the country to participate in a one-day international (ODI) and twenty20 international (T20I) series against South Africa.

The three-match ODI series will start from April 2 to April 7 while the four T20Is will be played between April 10 and 16.

1st ODI – April 02 - Friday – SuperSport Park, Centurion

2nd ODI – April 04 - Sunday – The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg

3rd ODI – April 07 - Wednesday – SuperSport Park, Centurion

1st T20I – April 10 – Saturday – The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg

2nd T20I – April 12 – Monday – The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg

3rd T20I – April 14 – Wednesday – SuperSport Pak, Centurion

4th T20I – April 16 – Friday – SuperSport Park, Centurion
