Karachi: Multan Sultans will take on defending champions Karachi Kings today in their fourth fixture of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) at National Stadium.

The two teams have locked horns six times so far in PSL history, with Karachi dominating the head-to-head record at four wins. Multan could only manage one victory, while one match resulted in no outcome.

The Mohammad Rizwan-led side marked their first victory in the sixth edition of PSL on Friday after beating Lahore Qalandars by seven wickets. The skipper played a match-winning innings of 76, helping his side chase the 158-run target with 22 balls to spare.

Karachi, on the other hand, started off well by winning the tournament opener against Quetta Gladiators but lost their second fixture to the two-time champions Islamabad United by five wickets despite a record opening partnership of 176 runs between Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan.
