Lahore Qalandars superstar Mohammad Hafeez appears to have buried his hatchet with Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, downplaying their recent Twitter spat, a day after playing a starring role in his team's second straight victory of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021.
"Be it Sarfaraz or someone else ... whoever performs better, I will praise that one," he told GEO News in reference to his public appreciation of Mohammad Rizwan, which had triggered his beef with Sarfaraz.
"I always praise everyone."

The man nicknamed Professor assured that he bears no ill-will towards Sarfaraz despite their recent squabble.
"Sarfaraz is as dear to me as other players," Hafeez is quoted as saying. "I have not had a problem with anyone ever."
The Twitter beef had begun when Hafeez, earlier this month, went overboard in his appreciation of current Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, referring to him as "the number one" and rubbing his ascension in the face of his glove rival Sarfaraz, who took an exception and responded in a rare show of aggression.
Mohammad Amir, too, had sided with Sarfaraz against longtime rival Hafeez.
Hafeez, having seen both Sarfaraz and Amir team up against him, had, in a separate tweet, said: "Shallow-minded approach EXPOSED!"
