Manchester United suffer Mason Mount injury blow in PSG friendly

Manchester United have suffered a big injury blow during a pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as midfielder Mason Mount was forced off in the first half.

Mount has been a key man for United during their pre-season friendlies so far. But the midfielder was replaced by Tyler Fletcher in the 20th minute of the match in Gothenburg on Saturday afternoon, ramping up Michael Carrick side's pursuit of a third midfield signing in the summer transfer window.

Things went from bad to worse in the second half when Tom Heaton, a veteran goalkeeper, was also replaced by Dermot Mee as he was seen clutching his hamstring.
