Dana White says he knows venue of Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight

UFC CEO Dana White said he knows the venue of the all-British fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Joshua and Fury signed contracts earlier this year to fight at home in the autumn. But Netflix, which will broadcast the contest, want to move it to a place suitable for a US audience.

White, who founded the UFC and new promotion Zuffa Boxing, revealed that the fight will take place "where the money is".

"We're the ones that have done all the deals for this fight. I did the deal for the venue, that's why I know where the venue is. I did the deal. We at TKO [the company which owns UFC, WWE and Zuffa Boxing] did the deal for television and we did everything," White told Sky Sports.

The organisers want to stage the bout on November 20, a Friday, at Madison Square Garden. Anthony Joshua, 36, admitted last month that his legacy would be damaged if his biggest fight was shipped abroad. And his promoter Eddie Hearn insists they are not ready to give in.

White told Sky Sports: "At the end of the day, here's the truth, you're going to go where the money is.

"It's just been such a [mess]. It's unbelievable what a [mess] this thing has been."

Tyson Fury's promoter Frank Warren, meanwhile, refused to provide details on the fight's date or location.

“That will be up to his Excellency (Turki Alalshikh) to announce when he is ready to announce it," he said.
