DUBAI: Pakistan players have largely retained their positions in the latest ICC T20I rankings, with Fakhar Zaman and spinners Usman Tariq and Sufiyan Muqeem making notable gains.
In the ICC T20I batters' rankings, the top three remain unchanged, with Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan occupying third place with 848 points. India's Ishan Kishan continues to lead the rankings, followed by teammate Abhishek Sharma in second.
Top-order batters Saim Ayub and Babar Azam remain in 40th and 42nd place respectively, while captain Salman Ali Agha stays 44th with 547 points. Opener Fakhar Zaman has climbed one place to 71st with 481 points.
In the ICC T20I bowlers' rankings, the top three have seen a slight reshuffle as England's Adil Rashid has moved up one place to third with 712 points, overtaking India's Varun Chakaravarthy.
Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed remains second with 736 points, while Afghanistan's Rashid Khan continues to occupy the top spot.
Spinner Mohammad Nawaz retains 12th place, while pacer Salman Mirza stays 20th. Shaheen Afridi also holds his 30th position with 602 points.
Spinner Usman Tariq has climbed one place to 59th with 524 points, while teammate Sufiyan Muqeem has also risen one position to 67th with 510 points.
Meanwhile, Saim Ayub has slipped one place to 72nd, while Shadab Khan has dropped to 74th. Fast bowler Haris Rauf now occupies 89th place with 448 points.
In the ICC T20I all-rounders' rankings, Saim Ayub has climbed one place to second, overtaking India's Hardik Pandya, who has slipped to third, while Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza continues to hold the top spot.
Mohammad Nawaz remains 10th, while Shadab Khan is ranked 23rd. Faheem Ashraf and Salman Ali Agha occupy 53rd and 55th respectively, while Shaheen Afridi retains his 62nd position.
