New Zealand to host Sri Lanka for multi-format series next year
New Zealand women will host Bangladesh women for a white-ball series in December this year
AUCKLAND: The 2026–27 home international season will feature a busy schedule for New Zealand cricket, with the BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS set to host Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Women following the landmark tour by India.
The New Zealand men’s team will face Sri Lanka in a full multi-format series comprising three ODIs, three T20Is, and two Test matches, scheduled across January and February.
The home summer will conclude ahead of New Zealand’s demanding four-Test tour of Australia, underlining a packed international calendar across all formats.
Meanwhile, the WHITE FERNS will welcome Bangladesh Women for a six-match white-ball series, featuring three T20Is and three ODIs, scheduled from 10 to 23 December.
It will be the New Zealand women’s only home assignment of the summer as they build towards the inaugural ICC Women’s Champions Trophy, which is set to be held in Sri Lanka in February.
