Former two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has provided an interesting new detail about his comeback fight.
Former world heavyweight champion Fury, in January, announced his return to boxing, saying 2026 is his comeback year.
Fury, who is busy training in Thailand these days in a bid to get fight-ready, recently said that he is preparing for a battle and war in 2026.
‘The Gypsy King’ is chasing a blockbuster showdown in the summer, before which he wants a tune-up fight before the end of April.
In a video on his Instagram account, the former world champion updated about his training, before revealing that his next fight will be in a stadium.
"Just finished 15 rounds of boxing in the gym," he began.
"Really good work. Really feeling good. We did 15 rounds of boxing... and then we had a nice massage and ice bath. Shower. That's my second session of the day. Training is going really good.
“Zero complaints from me. Really looking forward to the return fight which should be announced imminently. We are just finishing a few things right now. Big news coming. Big stadium fight. Stay posted. Really excited."
Tyson Fury announced his retirement after his second fight against Oleksandr Usyk, who is the only fighter to defeat ‘The Gypsy King’ in his professional career in back-to-back fights in 2024.
Usyk has recently said that he is open for trilogy against Fury, but only if the fight is for the undisputed status again.
"Why not," he told Ready To Fight when asked if he would fight Fury again.
"But only if it’s a fight for the undisputed status again."
