SYLHET: Chattogram Royals edged past Rajshahi Warriors by two wickets in a thrilling 19th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025-26 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Batting first, the Warriors were restricted to a modest 128-9 in 20 overs, as Chattogram Royals' bowlers dominated throughout. 

No batter could reach 20 runs, with Muhammad Waseem top-scoring with 19 off 14 deliveries, including a four and two sixes. 

SM Meherob also contributed 19 runs, while Akbar Ali (17), wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim (15) and Tanzim Hasan Sakib (14) added crucial runs.

Aamer Jamal led the Royals' bowling attack with figures of 3/23 in four overs.

Tanvir Islam and Shoriful Islam took two wickets each, while Mahedi Hasan and Hasan Nawaz picked up one wicket apiece.

Chattogram Royals chased down the target in a nail-biting finish, winning with eight wickets down on the final delivery. 

Hasan Nawaz remained unbeaten on 35 off 36 deliveries, guiding his side to victory with two well-timed fours. 

Skipper Mahedi Hasan scored 28 off 25 balls, including three fours and a six, while Asif Ali contributed 27 off 25 deliveries, featuring three fours and a six.

For the Warriors, Binura Fernando led the bowling effort with three wickets for 18 runs in four overs. 

SM Meherob picked up two wickets, while Ripon Mondol, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Sandeep Lamichhane claimed one wicket each.
