SAN FRANCISCO: Stephen Curry delivered a standout performance with a team-high 31 points as the Golden State Warriors secured a 120-113 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in a National Basketball Association (NBA) clash here at Chase Center on Wednesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was dominant for the Bucks, registering 34 points and 10 rebounds in just 31 minutes, but his efforts weren't enough to prevent Milwaukee from falling short.

The Bucks had a strong start, but the game turned in the second period after Antetokounmpo was sidelined with his third foul.

The Warriors capitalised, outscoring Milwaukee 11-0 during his absence to build a 64-53 lead at the break.

Golden State’s three-point shooting proved pivotal. De'Anthony Melton contributed a season-high 22 points, hitting five of nine from beyond the arc, while the Warriors collectively drained 18 three-pointers on the night.

Moses Moody also found his rhythm with three triples, as the Warriors shot 49.4% overall and 12-for-25 from deep in the first half alone.

Despite strong performances from the Bucks' supporting cast, Kevin Porter Jr. added 15 points and nine assists, while Myles Turner and Kyle Kuzma each chipped in 13.

Milwaukee struggled to find consistency at the free-throw line, attempting just 12, compared to the Warriors' 14.

Curry also recorded seven assists and six rebounds, further showcasing his all-around contribution. The Warriors' depth proved decisive in a thrilling back-and-forth clash.

The win marks their seventh in the last 10 games and kick-starts an eight-game homestand, and they will next face the Sacramento Kings on January 10th.
