DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday revealed the nominees for the Men’s Player of the Month for November 2025, featuring South Africa’s Simon Harmer, Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam and Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz.

South Africa’s experienced off-spinner Harmer played a pivotal role in the Proteas’ historic 2-0 Test series win over India—their first series triumph in India in 25 years.

Harmer claimed a remarkable 17 wickets at an extraordinary average of 8.94 across the two Tests in Kolkata and Guwahati.

The 36-year-old took eight wickets in the opening Test and backed it up with nine more in the second, including a magical 6/37, helping South Africa secure a 408-run victory and a series sweep.

His dominant performance earned him the Player of the Series award.

Bangladesh’s left-arm spinner Taijul Islam continued to shine in home conditions as his side swept both Tests against Ireland.

Taijul picked up 13 wickets at an average of 26.30, finishing as the leading wicket-taker of the series. His precision and knack for breaking partnerships proved decisive, earning him the Player of the Series accolade.

Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz enjoyed a stellar month in white-ball cricket during Pakistan’s tri-series triumph over Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe at home.

He scored 104 runs in ODIs at an average of 52 with a strike rate of 114.28 while taking four wickets. In T20Is, Nawaz contributed 52 runs and claimed 11 wickets at an outstanding average of 12.72.

His match-winning 3-17 in the final against Sri Lanka capped off a superb campaign and secured him the Player of the Series honour.
