The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has postponed next month’s fitness tests of its centrally contracted players as well as the members of six provincial teams in light of the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Daily Jang reported on Wednesday.

The players have been training on their own as the PCB has shut its facilities, including its academy and gym. And since the players do not have the means to prepare and train, the PCB has delayed their scheduled fitness tests, which were to take place in April but will now be taken at a yet unspecified date.

However, the players are still required to inform their coaches and trainers regarding their fitness during their time away from the academy.
