Legendary fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has requested Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Government of Pakistan to enforce a complete lockdown in Rawalpindi after being dismayed at seeing people still out and about and not adhering to the concept of social distancing.

The Rawalpindi Express expressed his disappointment in a YouTube video, saying that upon an emergency visit out of his home he found that the people of Rawalpindi were not taking the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously.

While PM Imran, earlier today, shied away from enforcing a countrywide lockdown, Akhtar pleaded with him and the federal and provincial governments to revisit their stance before the virus causes mayhem like in Italy.
