Colin Munro admits calling Imran Tahir 'a clown' in heated spat

Multan Sultans leg spinner Imran Tahir and Islamabad United’s Colin Munro were involved in a heated exchange, during the sides’ encounter on Sunday, which resulted in the latter calling the former a "clown".

During the fifth over the match between Islamabad and Multan, that Munro played a miscalculated shot which was caught behind by Sohail Tanvir. 

In true Tahir fashion, the bowler took off in his trademark celebratory sprint which aggravated Munro and called the bowler "a clown".

The unpleasant comment was not taken to deaf ears with the two players soon involved in a heated exchange.

"I am tired of seeing him (Imran Tahir) celebrate like that and I called him a clown and he took it the wrong way and then you saw what he said to me, so we will leave it at that, eh?," a tweet posted by Pak Passion Editor Saj Sadiq read.
