Dunk, in his post-match press conference was surprised to learn that his habit caught attention said that chewing gum helped him remain calm in the midst of pressure.

"There’s a lot of videos going around of me chewing gum but there’s nothing special in the gum. It helps me remain calm in the field," he said.

"It’s probably a habit I should quit but it helps me reach targets."

When asked about the match, the batsman admitted that the target seemed difficult but lauded skipper Sohail Akhtar’s performance.

Dunk played an instrumental role in Qalandars wing against Kings hitting 99 runs off 40 balls while Akhtar chipped in with 68 runs off 46 balls.

"I felt that the chase would be difficult as the Kings pulled a big total despite our good bowling," the Australian batsman said. "We were able to chase the total with Sohail [Akhtar's] help."

"He did a tremendous job and his part should not be ignored," Dunk added.

When asked what next for the 32-year-old, Dunk said his focus was on the remaining three group stage matches.

"We want to keep the momentum alive and remain gelled in the upcoming matches," he said.
