Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani on Friday said the upcoming Asia Cup will be hosted at a neutral venue owing to India’s disinterest in travelling to Pakistan.

"Asia Cup will be hosted by Pakistan however the event would have to take place at a neutral venue," Mani told reporters. "If we insist on hosting the event in Pakistan, the Indian team will not take part. We do not care what the BCCI says."

Earlier, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had said Asia Cup was being staged in Dubai and had 'confirmed' both India as well as Pakistan's participation.

"Asia Cup will be held in Dubai and both India and Pakistan will play," Ganguly said.

However, Mani denied the claim and insisted that a decision would be taken while considering the interests of the participating countries.
