MULTAN: Pakistan’s right-arm spinner Sajid Khan on Sunday, pulled out World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) John Cena’s iconic ‘you can’t see me’ celebration during the recently-concluded second day of the second Test against West Indies.

The incident occurred on the last ball of the 59th over of West Indies’ second innings when Sajid bowled a loopy delivery to Jomel Warrican, which pitched just outside the off-stump and spun sharply.

Warrican went for a big slog but could not cope with the sharp spin and missed the ball completely as it marginally missed his stumps.

In response, Sajid Khan gave an aggressive stare down to the West Indian before pulling a ‘you can’t see me' gesture to intimidate Warrican.

The lower-order batter, stunned by the sharp-spinning delivery, could only smile at Sajid’s tactic.

For the unversed, the ‘you can’t see me’ pose has been made famous by legendary WWE superstar John Cena, who is all set to bring down curtains on his glittering wrestling career.

Meanwhile, when this story was filed, Pakistan were 76/4 at the stumps on day two while chasing a stiff 254-run target on a challenging Multan Cricket Stadium’s surface, which saw a record 20 wickets falling on the opening day of the ongoing fixture.

The home side had a disastrous start to the run chase as they lost both their openers – Shan Masood and Muhammad Huraira – with just five runs on the board.

Following the early hiccup, star batter Babar Azam briefly stabilized the run chase with a cautious 31-run knock. He was involved in two crucial partnerships for Pakistan before falling victim to Kevin Sinclair, just 20 balls before the stumps.

Saud Shakeel and nightwatchman Kashif Ali will resume Pakistan’s pursuit as they need a further 178 runs to secure a 2-0 clean sweep over West Indies.
