Cristiano Ronaldo to renew contract with Al-Nassr with humongous deal

Star Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to renew his contract with Saudi Pro League’s club Al-Nassr, which will see him earning millions of euros per year.

According to the details, Ronaldo will earn €183 million annually, equivalent to €15.25 million per month or €550,000 per day, establishing the 39-year-old as the highest-paid footballer in the world.

Ronaldo’s reported new deal translates into even more intriguing numbers in PKR as the Portuguese would take home a whopping 53.07 billion per year, equivalent to 159.5 million per day.

The aforementioned economic insights, however, are only part of the package as Al-Nassr have also offered the star forward a minor ownership stake of five per cent, in a bid to showcase their trust in his leadership and commitment towards the team.

The development came after it was reported that Ronaldo had set a condition for renewing his contract with Al-Nassr, asking the club to strengthen their team in order to compete with the league’s top teams such as Al Hilal and Al Ittihad.

As per the international media, Ronaldo wants to surround himself with renowned names. One of them could be Brazil’s Casemiro.

The defensive midfielder’s contract with Manchester United is valid until next year but the 32-year-old has not been playing a major role at the club under coach Ruben Amorim.

Reports also suggest that the Brazilian is no longer seen as a key player at the United and thus could be let go by the struggling Premier League club.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro have played 122 matches together over the years for Real Madrid and United and scored a total of seven goals together.
