Quetta Gladiators’ star player, Shane Watson, on Thursday said that the quality of fast-bowlers in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 "is better than anywhere in the world", reported Cricket Pakistan on Friday.
The batsman further said that the bowling contributed to his opinion of the PSL being one of the toughest leagues.
"The quality of bowling, especially fast-bowling, is better than anywhere in the world. In every game, I am facing at least one or two guys that consistently bowl at 150 plus kph," he said.
"They have quality spin bowlers as well so it is an incredibly tough tournament."
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old said that he was thoroughly enjoying his time in the country and added that he would’ve brought his family if his kids were not busy with school.
"After coming to the PSL last season in the finals and then seeing it with my own eyes, I was reassured on how incredibly safe it is here. My family is excited for me to be here. Unfortunately they cannot come over this time because my kids have school."
