Quetta Gladiators pacer Tymal Mills on Wednesday said that he has been overwhelmed with the hospitality of the people during the 2020 Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.

Addressing a press conference at Pindi Stadium Rawalpindi, Mills, who is in Pakistan for the third time, lauded the support given by local fans.

"PSL was a great opportunity for me to make my place in the England squad, as the league was being watched all over," he said.

The Englishman also lauded pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Husnain, saying they are always eager to take fast bowling tips.

To a question, he said that Quetta's Thursday night opponents Islamabad United have a strong batting line-up in the form of Luke Ronchi, Colin Mundo and Colin Ingram.

"The plan would be to take two to three wickets in the power play," he said.

Meanwhile, Islamabad United's spin bowling coach Saeed Ajmal said that while his team was already good in the batting and bowling departments it is also improving its fielding as well.

He said the pitches during PSL matches were of good quality as high scores were being seen in the tournament. However, he said that he wanted to see more crowd at stadiums.

Saeed also urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to hold training camps for spinners so that young talent can come to the fore.

He said it was too early to predict who would win PSL 2020, but added that Islamabad "are on the right track".

To a question, he said that Islamabad United skipper Shadab Khan was being groomed for future as youngsters are to lead the national squad in future.

Ha also urged authorities to send school children to the stadiums to watch PSL matches.

Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators would face each other on Thursday.
