Former Test cricketer Jalal-ud-din has accused the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of not issuing him media accreditation for the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, according to a report published in Daily Express.

Jalal-ud-din, the first-ever bowler to claim an ODI hat-trick, is quoted as saying by the Urdu daily that the board refused to issue him an accreditation card — something he says has caught him by surprise.

The report further quotes him as saying that he is frequently accredited for events hosted by the International Cricket Council, the Asian Cricket Council and the English County Board as he indulges in freelance journalism.

However, he alleges that the PCB turned down his request to get accredited despite that.

It is not the first time that the current PCB regime and Jalal-ud-din do not see eye to eye. Last year, the former fast bowler had claimed that the PCB did not even send a courtesy rejection when he applied for the bowling coach's job.
