Pakistan’s renowned shoemaker who goes by Chacha Noor-ud-Din on Tuesday presented Peshawar Zalmi’s foreign and local players with Peshawar’s symbolic footwear.
Foreigners Darren Sammy, Liam Dawson and Liam Livingstone were among many to receive the token and expressed their appreciation for the gift.
From the video it appeared that Sammy and the craftsman were candidly enjoying each other's company despite the obvious language barrier.
It is pertinent to mention that Noor-ud-Din has also crafted the Peshawari Chappal which is worn frequently by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
