The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plans on inviting the New Zealand national cricket team for a tour in January 2021, CEO Wasim Khan said on Thursday.
Wasim, during a press conference, revealed that the expected tour of South Africa next month would be key to the board's future plans, including it's bid to draw the Black Caps to Pakistan.
The PCB CEO further said that the plan is for New Zealand to play two Tests and three T20Is in Pakistan early next year.
Pakistan and New Zealand last met in a bilateral series in 2018 in the UAE. However, the Kiwis last played on Pakistan soil way back in 2003. The hosts, under Inzamam-ul-Haq's captaincy, had brushed aside the Kiwis 5-0 in the ODI series.
