United States pacer Saurabh Netravalkar dismissed India's Virat Kohli for a golden duck in their ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 match at New York's Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Netravalkar is the first bowler to dismiss Kohli on a golden duck in the competition's history. Kohli has played 28 innings, scoring 1146 runs.

Meanwhile, this is also the first time Kohli was dismissed at single-digit scores in four consecutive international innings.

At the start of the year, he was dismissed for a duck against Afghanistan. In three T20 World Cup innings, he went back on scores of 4, 1 and 0.

It must be noted India are chasing a target of 111 against the co-hosts USA.

Pacer Arshdeep Singh was the best bowler for India, securing figures of 4/9 - the best-ever by an Indian in the history of the competition.

He dismissed Shayan Jahangir, Andries Gous, Nitish Kumar and Harmeet Singh

Nitish was the only batter for the USA, scoring 27 off 23 balls. Opener Steven Taylor chipped in with 24 (30).

Apart from Arshdeep, Hardik Pandya secured 2/14 while Axar Patel bagged figures of 1/25.
