Pakistan's volleyball team triumphed in their third game against Australia, completing a clean sweep in the series at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
The home side again showed their dominance as the match ended with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, and 25-20.
Despite being ranked 49th in the world compared to Australia's 35th, Pakistan showcased superior performance and strategy, ensuring a series win with a match to spare.
In the first game on Tuesday, Pakistan depicted their dominance against Australia. The home side took the first set with a score of 25-22. The second set mirrored the first, ending again at 25-22 in favour of Pakistan.
In the final set, Pakistan continued their dominant performance, securing a 25-20 win.
In the second game, Pakistan narrowly edged out Australia 26-24 in the first set. They dominated the second set, winning 25-19.
The final set was closely contested, but Pakistan clinched it 25-23.
It must be noted the series was being organised by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) at the request of the Australian Volleyball Federation.
Remember, Pakistan won the Central Asian title before this series. The matches were crucial as both teams prepared for the Challenge Cup to be held in Bahrain next month.
