The Australian cricket team will take part in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 which will be held in the United States and West Indies from June 1.

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh will lead the Australian team during the World Cup.

Australia are in Group B of the World Cup alongside England, Namibia, Scotland and Oman.

Here is Australia’s confirmed squad and schedule for the T20 World Cup.

Squad

Mitchell Marsh (c), Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, David Warner and Adam Zampa.

Travelling Reserves: Jake Fraser-McGurk and Matt Short.

Schedule

June 6: v Oman, Kensington Oval, Barbados,

June 8: v England, Kensington Oval, Barbados

June 12: v Namibia, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua

June 16: v Scotland, Daren Sammy Stadium, St Lucia

It must be noted that 55 games will be played across nine different venues in the West Indies and the USA during the T20 World Cup.

The venues in West Indies are Kensington Oval, Barbados; Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad; Providence Stadium, Guyana; Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua; Darren Sammy Cricket Ground, St Lucia; Arnos Vale Stadium, St Vincent.

Meanwhile, three venues will hold the matches in the USA — Eisenhower Park, New York; Lauderhill, Florida; and Grand Prairie, Texas.
