President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Ganguly, has travelled to England to reportedly discuss with the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) a potential four-nation series, reported Indo-Asian News Service.

According to sources, Ganguly is on a visit to discuss the technicalities of the tournament and how that would be taken into account for the Future Tours Programme.

"Yes, Ganguly headed to UK and there will be talks around the four-nation tournament during his stay there," a source told the Indian agency.

"Cricket Australia officials could also join in. That depends on how things progress as some things need looking into."

Ganguly, days after his appointment, had announced that the BCCI would develop a yearly multi-nation series which would include big names such as India, England, Australia and another top nation.
