Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Travis Head did not have the outing he would have desired in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match against Punjab Kings (PBKS).
The 69th game of the tournament is currently underway at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad where Pat Cummins' men are chasing 215.
After conceding a total of 214 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to the worst possible start with the bat. The in-form Travis Head, who has been dismantling opposition bowling attacks throughout IPL 2024, fell victim to the brilliance of Arshdeep Singh which is touted by the viewers as the ball of the competition.
Arshdeep dismiss the batter with the first ball of the second innings, giving his team a flying start. The pacer delivered a good length ball that did not move much as Travis Head remained rooted to the crease.
Head was late in bringing his bat down, allowing the ball to skid through and sneak under the bat to hit the off-stump, sending the batster packing.
This was the second time Arshdeep Singh had dismissed Travis Head in the ongoing IPL 2024, having also removed him in their previous encounter.
