KARACHI: Islamabad United will celebrate their Pakistan Super League (PSL) season victory next month in Islamabad, the country's capital.
Shadab Khan-led side defeated Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final at Karachi's National Bank Stadium on March 18 to bag their third title, the most by any team in competition's history
The celebration will be held on May 2 where the side will parade the trophy from Shalimar Ground to F-9 Park. A special ceremony will be held at F9 Park.
The local players and coaching staff of Islamabad will participate in the celebration of the victory.
Remember, PSL 9 champions bagged PKR 140,000,000 as prize money, whereas, Multan Sultans, the runners-up, received PKR 56,000,000.
Imad Wasim, who registered a historic five-wicket haul in the first innings, was adjudged player of the match as Islamabad United lifted the PSL trophy after winning the first final they made since 2018.
PSL 9 champions bagged PKR 140,000,000 as prize money, whereas, Multan Sultans, the runners-up, received PKR 56,000,000.
