The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met the Men in Green’s white-ball captain Babar Azam, selector Wahab Riaz and head coach Azhar Mahmood ahead of the five-match T20I series against New Zealand on home soil.

Naqvi shared the development on his official X, formerly Twitter, account on Wednesday.

“Discussion with national team officials about the upcoming Pak vs NZ series,” Naqvi said in the caption of a picture with the aforementioned trio.

It must be noted that the series between Pakistan and New Zealand will begin tomorrow in Rawalpindi but rain could play spoilsport, according to The Weather Channel.

The latest weather forecast states that there is 40 percent chance of rain on Thursday during the day and 70 percent at night.

There is also 52 percent chance of rain on April 20, which is the day of the second T20I.

However, the chance of rain on April 21, when the third T20I is set to take place, is considerably less at 13 percent.
