The finalists of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine have been confirmed after Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by five wickets in Eliminator 2 at Karachi's National Bank Stadium.
United will lock horns against Multan Sultans in the final on March 18, who had also defeated Zalmi in the Qualifier.
This is United's first PSL final since 2018 while Sultans will play their fourth consecutive final.
Meanwhile, if we look at the individual stats, Zalmi captain Babar Azam is leading the list of highest run-getters by a big margin.
The 29-year-old now holds second spot for scoring the most runs in a single edition of PSL. He made 569 runs in 11 innings. Lahore Qalandars' Fakhar Zaman scored 588 in 2022.

2- Mohammad Rizwan: 381 runs, 11 innings
3- Usman Khan: 373 runs, 6 innings
4- Rassie van der Dussen: 364 runs, 7 innings

Looking at bowling stats, Multan Sultans’ duo of Usama Mir and Mohammad Ali occupy the first two spots.
1- Usama Mir: 23 wickets, 11 innings
2- Mohammad Ali: 18 wickets, 11 innings
3- Abrar Ahmed: 16 wickets, 10 innings
4- Akeal Hosein: 15 wickets, 10 innings,
5- David Willey: 14 wickets, 10 innings
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi’s talented opener Saim Ayub continues to top the most sixes chart as the left-handed batter has been Zalmi’s one of most important players this season.

2- Rassie van der Dussen: 16 sixes, 7 innings
3- Kieron Pollard: 15 sixes, 8 innings
4- Saud Shakeel: 15 sixes, 10 innings
