KARACHI: Pakistan-born UAE batter Usman Khan has revealed that he tries to seek inspiration from wicketkeeper-batter and Multan Sultans' captain Mohammad Rizwan.
The 28-year-old is playing as an international player after moving to UAE for his cricket career. While talking to reporters in Karachi on Saturday, the right-handed batter talked about different aspects.
"I try to learn from Mohammad Rizwan [bhai], he always boosts the morale of the players," he said.
Usman fell short of scoring second PSL century in the 14th match against Lahore Qalandars as he was dismissed on 96.
"I have no regrets of not scoring a century as the joy of the team's victory is more," he added.
Meanwhile, Usman is eyeing to perform well at his home ground, National Bank Cricket Arena against Karachi Kings in the 19th match of the season on Sunday.
It must be noted that Multan Sultans are at the top of the points table with five wins and 10 points in six games.
They are eyeing to win the title after their first win in 2021. They finished as runners-up in 2022 and 2023, losing both finals to Lahore Qalandars.
