Former Pakistan captain Moin Khan thinks there are eight players in the current team who can be changed.

Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by eight wickets in the 22nd game of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 in Chennai on October 23 and have been receiving criticism and suggestion since then from cricketers and analysts.

Without naming them, the 52-year-old said Pakistan will have to go in a rebuilding phase if they can't finish the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 on a high note.

"Players should know they can get dropped from here. If we don't win, eight players of the team could be changed," Moin said on a local sports channel.

"You will have to go to the rebuilding phase after the tournament," he added.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik opined Pakistan cricket can't go lower than this. "When someone is down, only two things are bound to happen, either they fall more or stand above. Pakistan have a great chance to show character and give their best."

The national team, with two wins and three defeats, will now play South Africa at the same venue on October 27.

    We need two hight strike rate batsman , Abdullah Shafiq and second opener we should find high strike rate , another #4 batsman we need another fine batsman with 150 strike rate, fast bowlers we need two new faces with Shaheen Afridi . and two top class spinners we need .
