Pakistani left-handed opener Saim Ayub worked his magic in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 League during the match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Royal at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad on Sunday.
Ayub came in as an opener and had to face some difficulty as his partner Gudakesh Motie lost his wicket after scoring seven runs.
But the 21-year-old held his nerves and built a 98-run partnership with Shai Hope.
Saim played a blistering knock, scoring 58 off 35 balls. His knock included seven boundaries out of which, six were sixes.
The left-handed batter played shots all over the ground and proved once again why he is one of the classiest batters in the world.

Hope also played a calm knock of 50 runs off 40 balls and helped his side register 181 on the scoreboard while batting first.
Hope and Ayub were the top-scorers for their side but it was the Pakistani cricketer who bagged the Player of the Match award for his heroics.
Royals couldn't chase the target of 182 and could only score 178 in the allocated overs.
Laurie Evans top-scored for his side with 44 off 27 balls.
Rovman Powell also played a destructive knock, scoring 39 off just 19 balls — which included six boundaries — but his valiant display was not enough to take his team over the line.
