Commentary panel revealed for Pakistan-Sri Lanka Test series

The commentary panel for the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has been announced today.

Pakistan's Ramiz Raja and Aamer Sohail, Sri Lanka's Russel Arnold, Roshan Abhisinghe, and Zimbabwe's Tino Mawoyo will be in action in the commentary box during the series.

Pakistan’s iconic commentary duo Raja and Aamer will be reunited in the commentary box for the first time in a long time.

Raja — who was sacked as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman in December 2022 — will be taking on his first assignment as a commentator since September 2021.

Ramiz took a break and remained away from the limelight after leaving the PCB chairman post. But once again, he has decided to come to commentary which was his main job since taking retirement from international cricket.

Pakistan will begin their World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 campaign by taking on Sri Lanka on July 16 at Galle.

Pakistan last visited Sri Lanka to play a two-match Test series in 2022 which was drawn 1-1.

Pakistan won the first Test as the visitors chased down the 342-run target at Galle with Abdullah Shafique scoring his career-best 160 while Sri Lanka managed to draw the series with a 246-run victory in the second Test.
