FC Barcelona have got the green signal from La Liga to bring back star footballer Lionel Messi.

Toni Juanmart, a renowned sports journalist, tweeted the visuals from Messi's father and agent Jorge Messi meeting Barca president Joan Laporta at his house.

"The sequence of the meeting between Laporta and Jorge Messi. The president of Barça had to come down to show Jorge the portal," he wrote.

After meeting with the club's high-up, Messi's agent said the player wants to come back to his old club.

It must be noted here that Messi's contract with Paris Saint-German (PSG) is expiring at the end of this month.

Messi, 35, is eyeing a move away from PSG after he was suspended by the club as he traveled to Saudia Arabia without the club’s approval on May 3.

Following the suspension, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano said there are no doubts about Messi leaving PSG.

Earlier, Barca president said that they will ensure every possibility to bring back Messi to the club.

“We will do everything we can to bring Leo Messi back to Barcelona”, Laporta told the press. "We are working to have the possibility to build a very competitive team next season. We'll see if they [La Liga] will approve our viability plan," he had said.
