Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema talked about his future at the Spanish Club as there has been rumours about him joining a Saudi club.

"Talk about my future? Why would I say anything? People talking? It's internet. Reality isn't internet," Benzema said. “Will I stay at Real? For now, we have a game on the weekend.“

The 35-year-old talked about his early days at the club and when Madrid’s president Florentino Perez visited his house in order to convince him to sign for the Los Blancos.

“When I signed for this club, I was a boy, 21 years old. I was only thinking about enjoying & winning trophies and in the end, I see that I have won a lot with Real Madrid,” he added. “I’m very proud of my career, I remember when I signed here, I was a kid, with a dream to play for Real Madrid.”

“Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I dreamed of playing here,” said the 35-year-old.

The Frenchmen also discussed his favourite rivals and his favourite goal he scored for the Los Blancos.

“My first goal for Real Madrid is my most favourite goal and the team I like to play against the most is FC Barcelona,” he said.

Benzema also talked about his footballing idol and discussed his role on the pitch.

“My role model? Ronaldo Nazario. R9. But it’s impossible to copy him,” Benzema said. “My role? Between a 9 and a 10. I try to do things that you don’t see in others.”

“A message to the fans? One, two, three, Hala Madrid,” he concluded.

It must be noted that Benzema received a massive offer of 200 million Euros from Saudia Arabia for two years, and may leave the club after spending 14 years with the Los Blancos.

Madrid have asked the 35-year-old to decide his future quickly as they were not expecting the Frenchmen to leave the club. His departure would force the club to change their plans.
