Real Madrid are heavily active in the transfer market as they are looking forward to replacing a number of important players who may be leaving the club.

Star striker Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio and Nacho Fernandez are among the names that may be leaving the Spanish capital.

Benzema, who received a massive offer of 200 million Euros from Saudia Arabia for two years, could leave the club after spending 14 years with the Los Blancos.

Madrid have asked the 35-year-old to decide his future quickly as they were not expecting the Frenchmen to leave the club. His departure would force the club to change their plans.

Asensio, 27, is also set to leave Madrid after spending nine years with the Los Blancos as Aston Villa and Paris Saint Germain are pushing to sign the Spaniard.

As per the Spanish source Relevo, Asensio wants to leave Madrid because he no longer wants to play as a substitute. He believes he should be given more minutes in “big games”. Also, with Euro 2024 on the line, the 27-year-old wants to play regularly so he could maintain his form.

The centre-back Nacho’s 22-year stint at Madrid may come to an end as the Spaniard is closing in on signing for the Italian club Inter Milan.

On the other hand, Madrid will look to sign Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Harry Kane if Benzema decides to leave the club this summer.

According to the Spanish news outlet COPE, everyone at Madrid loves Kane and the coaching staff believes that he is "a truly elite player".

However, according to the latest updates, Madrid may look to include the French left-back Ferland Mendy in the deal for Kane.

It must be noted that Real Madrid are currently in second place in La Liga after losing the title to FC Barcelona.

The Los Blancos were also knocked out in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League at the hands of English champions Manchester City.

However, Carlo Ancelotti's men earned their 20th Spanish Cup at La Cartuja in their 40th final, ending a nine-year wait to lift the trophy again, against Osasuna.
