Mumbai Indians' Suryakumar Yadav, also known as SKY, struck his maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) century against Gujarat Titans today at Wankhede Stadium. 

Sent into bat first, Mumbai lost their openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan with a space of just a run. They both stitched 61 runs together for first wicket. 

Later on, it was the SKY effect that took Mumbai to 218-5 in 20 overs. He remained not out for 103 runs off 49 balls laced with 11 boundaries and six maximums. 

SKY was 53 not out at the end of 17th over. In the last three overs, he scored 50 runs to complete his magnificent century. His power-packed performance attracted IPL fans and followers who highly praised his skills. 

When this story was filed, the Gujarat were reduced to 90-5 in 11 overs. Mumbai's bowlers bowled really well to take quick wickets of the opponents.
