Babar Azam revealed his three best friends in the Pakistan team while speaking in a rapid-fire round in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released video.

Cricketer-turned-commentator Urooj Mumtaz played rapid-fire with the Pakistani skipper.

In reply to a question, Babar said he shares a good bond with all his teammates but Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, and Imam-ul-Haq are his best friends.

"If I will tell any three, others will mind," said Babar while laughing. "I share a good bond with all the players. But yes, I am very close to Imam, Rizwan and Shadab. Actually, we all are playing together for a very long time," he added.

Meanwhile, Babar also disclosed his three favorite dishes. "I like to eat Pasta, Steak, and Sushi," he mentioned.

Babar likes to listen to every type of song whereas he prefers gully cricket over indoor cricket any day. "I listen to every type of song, be it sad, romantic and fast," he responded.

"I would love to play gully cricket any day," he concluded.

Babar Azam's feat

Pakistan's skipper Babar — the top ODI batter in the world — also achieved another international feat during the fixture as he completed his 12,000 runs in international cricket.

He took 277 innings to achieve this feat as the fastest Pakistani and second-fastest Asian batter. In the world, he is the sixth-fastest to get to this achievement.

Sir Vivian Richards was the fastest batter to score 12,000 runs in international cricket. He achieved this milestone in 255 innings.

Previously, Babar was the fastest Asian to score 10,000 and then also 11,000 runs in international cricket.

Overall, Babar is the eighth Pakistani batter to score 12,000 runs in international cricket. Previously, Inzamam-ul-Haq (20541), Younis Khan (11790), Mohammad Yousaf (17134), Javed Miandad (16213), Saleem Malik (12,938), Saeed Anwar (12876) and Mohammad Hafeez (12780) crossed 12,000-run mark.
