Indian's batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday paid a tribute to the late Sir Don Bradman on his 111th birth anniversary.

Tendulkar, himself one of the greatest cricketers ever produced, said that he remembers the great Aussie not only for his cricketing feats but also his nature and "sense of humour".

"A lot of people remember Sir Don Bradman for his extraordinary batting; I remember him more for his graciousness and sense of humour that I experienced when I had the privilege of spending some time with him in 1998," he stated on Twitter.

Bradman is widely considered the greatest batsman to ever live. He averaged 99.94 run an innings over a 20-year playing career.

His continued brilliance made England devise the famous bodyline strategy where they would intentionally target his body. However, Bradman's near-century average is proof that nothing seemed to work against him.
